No Place Like Home

Although it’s sometimes true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, there are many destinations within Australia worth visiting. If you ask us, there's no time like the present to grab your friends and head out to explore the most awe-inspiring spots on your own home turf.
 
We are grateful to call Byron Bay our home – and what better place to be on location for our latest photo shoot. On show were items from our current collections including leather bags, wallets, and clutches. You’ll see from the shoot, our everyday essentials can take you from 9 to wine and everywhere between.
 
There is plenty to see and do in Australia’s most easterly beach side town. A daily ritual for many locals is to wake early, grab a coffee and meet friends for a walk around the lighthouse. Others choose to check out the waves at The Pass or Wategos.
 
Our latest campaign is all about fun, friendship, and enjoying all the local hot spots Byron has to offer – something that means a lot to us here at Stitch & Hide! We like to keep things simple, and real, all whilst having a good time immersing ourselves in our own surroundings.
 
Being part of a community means a lot to us too and Byron rally together to support one another – in good times and in hardship. For this shoot, we were excited to put a call out to our local friends to come together and create a little magic.
 
Fave local photographer (Wade Edwards) and videographer (Nolan Verheij) have captured our models (Christina Macpherson, Tilly Smith, Penelope Benson, Aasiya Folly, Sam Curtis, and Tom Paterson) hanging out in some of Byron Bay’s hot spots – and what a day was had! A morning Lighthouse walk with the most magical views, to a relaxed beach picnic and then to finish on the perfect patch of grass sipping a champagne, eating oysters and many giggles. A little indulgent but why not splurge every now and then!
