Our Eco-Certified Leathers have been responsibly sourced and developed in tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group. The LWG provides the world's leading certification dedicated to improving the environmental impacts of leather. With this certification, we're confident that our leathers meet the industry’s highest standards in sustainability, ethical production, and resource management.

Our Eco-Tanned Leathers have been responsibly sourced and developed without certification from the LWG. These leathers still follow the same tanning methods that our Eco-Certified Leathers do but come from tanneries that may not have the extra measures in place to reduce their environmental footprints, such as water recycling and energy-saving. They do, however, carry other well-regarded environmental certifications such as REACH.

A Gold Rating is the highest (and hardest) ranking to earn from the LWG. Gold-Rated tanneries have achieved excellence in environmental practices, scoring 95% or above in all aspects of the audit. They have full traceability of supply chains, have strict water recycling and energy-saving in place, and are considered the most responsibly sourced and developed leathers available in modern leather production.

In addition to the ethical components provided by the LWG certification, our partners carry other well-regarded social certifications, such as SA8000, Sedex, and SMETA. These certifications ensure the ethical treatment and well-being of workers, providing safe and healthy working conditions at all times.
